Footwear, Clothing & other Guidelines

Guidelines to follow in all QNFCF labs

  • Outerwear (coats, jackets, boots, bags, etc.) MUST be removed before entering labs. Lockers are available in QNC for temporary storage of these items.

  • Wear ONLY closed shoes to minimize the risk of contact in the event of chemical spills.

    • High heels, sandals or similar open footwear including "Crocs" type shoes must not be worn.

  • Please dedicate a clean pair of shoes that are NOT worn outdoors for lab use.

  • For added safety clothing must NOT be worn which allows legs to be exposed.
