Storage of Substrates & other Materials

Minimal storage capacity available in labs

Lab Members are encouraged to keep their substrates, personal beaker kits, etc. in the cleanroom while their device fabrication work is “in process”.

Between Process Sessions

  • substrates should be kept in closed containers.

  • substrates and other user-owned gear such as beaker kits, etc., must be kept in the member's storage bin; bin must be labeled with the owner’s name.

  • storage bins should be kept in the labelled racks located in the gowning room or central corridor.

Space is limited in the facility

  • Please remove your storage bin once you have completed your research and no longer require access to the facility.

  • The large storage bin should be returned to staff.

  • Containers, substrates and other materials which are not labeled and left lying around will be disposed of.
